Attention

It has come to my attention that I have had no pictures in this blog. Which is a shame, I love pictures, they give you all something shiny to look at while you pretend to be reading.

To your left is a brass loose JPL weave chainmaille bracelet by moi. Yes, I do chainmaille bracelets in my off-hours.

Recently I've mastered a real pain-in-the-ass pattern called Viper's Scale, though ran out of rings to make the full bracelet so it'll have to wait.

I sell my bracelets, as well as keepsake Illuminated Letters (for weddings, births, christenings and more!) through my etsy shop Touch of Poison.

I like to keep busy. At the moment I'm working on mastering new patterns (so if you find one give me a shout out), I already know the box chain, the byzantine (IE Birdcage, Idiot's Delight etc), Jen's Pink Linkage (JPL) and now the Viper's Scale and hope to move on to Orbital patterns and the Camelot once I have rings in the correct AR.

Meanwhile, I'm sure you're dying to know what story I'll be doing for the month of July, well, it's Blood Lines. I've been poking it with a stick these past couple of days, reading it and thinking through the outline, and am pretty sure I can at last work on it.

I had a job interview the other day, quite pleased with that, and it looks like I've got another coming up next week.

Right now I'm on a cupcake rush as I try to perfect my lemon cake recipe, but at last I've got my peanut butter frosting down pat and am inordinately pleased with myself about it. I'll have to get pictures of cupcakes up here at some point....Anywho, that's all for now. Looking forward to the month of July and a trip down to TN with the the Family.
